Yesterday in Jacksonville Florida we distributed 50 scarves & cowls, 32 hats, and 7 pairs of mittens to help folks who are experiencing homelessness around our downtown area. The majority of items are hand made with yarn. To make this possible our volunteers contributed more than 100 hours just to make the items passed out yesterday. This distribution brings our totals to 143 Scarves, 99 Hats, and 10 Gloves so far this year ant took more than 315 to hours to make.
