In Jacksonville, Florida we are blessed with agencies providing assistance to people experiencing homelessness. We’ll work to keep this up to date.
Housing First
The Housing First model works to help people who are chronically homeless establish a stable place to live and then provide the support services they need to stabilize their lives. Studies time and time again show that focusing on Housing before other services is having the greatest long term success in ending homelessness.
“Ability Housing’s mission is to provide quality, affordable, community inclusive housing for individuals and families at risk of homelessness and adults with a disability. Our goal is to end homelessness in Central and Northeast Florida.”
